St. James Major Church: Celebrating 100 years of serving God.

Celebrating 100 years of St. James Major Church is a time of grace and joy for the parishioners. It is a time to count the blessings God has showered upon our beloved Church and to thank, praise, and adore Him for guiding and protecting us all through the years. With that intention in mind, we planning to have:

• Place a banner in front of the Church to notify the community.

• Print booklet to mark 100 years of the Church. Person in charge – Frank Sczerzenie.

• Order leather bookmarkers as a gift to our people. Person in charge – Mrs. Patricia Sorbello.

• Adoration from 8 am to 5 pm on Saturday, June 7, 2025. Sign- up sheet will be in the back of the Church.

• Wedding Anniversary celebrations Sunday, June 15, 2025. Person in charge – Mr. & Mrs. Michael Romanych.

• Parish Mission by Msgr. Robert Aucoin Sunday, June 22, 23, 24, 25 6:00 pm?

• Church Decorations. Person in charge – Jean Doell & Patricia Sorbello.

• Anniversary Solemn Mass on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 8:00 am by Bishop Terry R. LaValley.

• Parish picnic (Catered) June 29, 2025, Noon in Speculator Pavillion. Person in charge – Mrs. Susan Hartman

(St. James Altar Rosary Society).

• St. James Altar Rosary Society will send invitation cards to the friends and well-wishers of St. James Major Church.
